Ajax midfielder Donny van Beek is on Barcelona's radar.

El Mundo Deportivo says the 21 year-old has been scouted extensively by Barca chief Robert Fernandez this season - and impressed.

Van Been has scored 12 goals and produced four assists from midfield in front of Robert, along with Barca transfers chief Ariedo Braida.

The youngster is tied to Ajax until 2022 and is expected to attract a firm bid from Barca this summer.

Inside La Masia, they're convinced Van Beek's style of game will fit easily into coach Ernesto Valverde's system.
