Ajax goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg wants a move to England.
Reports had claimed Roma were talking to Ajax about a move for Stekelenburg but the Dutch club have moved to deny the rumours.
"Maarten is a very good goalkeeper and there is interest. But Roma have not been in touch for him. People say we are talking to them, but that is false," said an Ajax spokesperson.
Arsenal and Tottenham have been linked with the Dutchman and talkSPORT has been told the goalkeeper would choose an English club over Roma.
