Ajax goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen is aware of rumours linking him with Manchester United.

With United face a goalkeeping overhaul, as Ben Amos and Anders Lindegaard seek new homes, Cillessen is being linked with a move to Old Trafford.

"If that is so, I think that's a great honor," he said when quizzed about the United rumours.

"Also because Frans Hoek (United keeper coach) is there and I know Louis van Gaal of course from the Dutch national team.

"But now I am playing for Ajax , I just re-signed. We'll see."

Cillessen is tied to Ajax until 2018.
