Ajax are encouraging a bidding war between Liverpool and Tottenham for striker Luis Suarez.
Dutch media sources say Ajax are hoping to spark a bidding war between Tottenham and Liverpool for the 23 year-old.
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has made the 23-year-old his number No.1 striker target after dropping his interest in Andy Carroll and Ajax were thought to have hinted privately that they would let the player go for a fee of around £17m.
But now Liverpool have entered the fray and Ajax are hoping to start a bidding war between the two Premier League sides to extract the best possible price.
Suarez himself is thought to favour a move to Tottenham.
