Ajax director Edwin Van der Sar has confirmed Manchester United's interest in Donny van de Beek.

However, the former United goalkeeper says Real Madrid are also keen.

It's been claimed in Holland that Ajax have accepted a €50m offer from United for Van de Beek.

The 22-year-old is one of the remaining stars of the Ajax team that reached the Champions League semi-finals in 2019.

Real Madrid had appeared to be frontrunners to sign the Netherlands international but Van der Sar revealed United are also in the mix.

"It's clear that clubs like Real Madrid and United are showing interest in Donny van de Beek," he told NOS.
