Ajax football director Marc Overmars is confident keeping hold of Donny van de Beek.

The Holland midfielder is the subject of intense interest from Real Madrid.

But Overmars says, "It will not be long before things are clear.

"I am hopeful that there will be a positive end. I want some clarification before a certain date.

"We have a date in mind, but in any case, yes, I expect Donny van de Beek to stay."
