Ajax defender Nicolas Tagliafico enjoyed a dig at Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos after last night's Champions League shock.

Ajax are into the quarterfinals after winning 4-1 last night in Madrid.

Ramos missed the game after picking up a deliberate booking in Madrid with the aim to have a clean record going into the quarterfinals.

Tagliafico stated: "He is a great player, a pillar of the defence and when there are no players like that it is not easy and we made the perfect match.

"The first leg was almost perfect and today was even better.

"Each one has his reasons, they are personal decisions, it went wrong (for Ramos).

"It did not anger us, in my case I did not give it importance, we thought about coming here and playing as equals."
