Ajax coach Erik ten Hag admits they may pass on Manchester United defender Daley Blind.

Ajax are in talks with Blind and Boca Juniors defender Lisandro Magallán, but will not sign both.

Ten Hag stated: "It will be either one or the other. Both of them do not seem realistic."

The coach admits he'd welcome the arrival of Blind.

"A player with a lot of experience, in the Premier League and in the Dutch national team. Building very well and organisationally very strong. Moreover, he is a stable personality. Just like the arrival of Dusan Tadic, this also counts as a considerable effort of the club.

"We'll do everything, but also depend on other parties.

"He can handle both positions well, both as a central defender and as a controlling midfielder. But what his position will be depends on how others develop."
