Ajax coach Alfred Schreuder says his players can handle the atmosphere at Liverpool tonight.
Schreuder expects to face an "angry" Liverpool in their Champions League clash given recent form.
He said, “I expect that, yes. Anyway, we also want to try to play our game. Against these kinds of teams you have to be very good on the ball and have a lot of guts and courage. That is the key word for tomorrow.
"If we can do that, then we stand a chance. If it doesn't work, it will be difficult. Then we get into duels and they are very strong.
“The intensity of the Premier League is many times higher, but we are Ajax and I think Ajax has shown in Europe in recent years that they can compete at this level. That is another challenge for tomorrow, with the new players we have. But we do know that Liverpool is angry.
"For us it is the strongest opponent in this competition."
