Ajax sports chief Marc Overmars has ruled out a late sale for Donny van de Beek.
It's been claimed Real Madrid have a deal for the Holland midfielder and will sign him should they fail to land Manchester United star Paul Pogba.
But Overmars told SER Catalunya, "Van de Beek will stay with Ajax this year."
Overmars also urged Barca to be patient with former Ajax star Frenkie de Jong.
“It is still too early to analyse his game. The competition has just begun and he needs time.
“Frenkie could play here (Barcelona) for ten years, we all need time to adjust. The trainer still needs to find the best position for everyone.
“This also happened at Ajax, it is still a matter of finding his best position. It takes some time before you find it."
