Ajax chief Marc Overmars has left the door open to raiding the Premier League again this summer.
Ajax splashed out big to land Sebastien Haller from West Ham in January and Overmars was asked about reports of interest in Crystal Palace fullback Patrick van Aanholt and Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld.
Overmars said, "You always look at top Dutch players, even though Toby is Belgian.
"Dutch internationals who can be paid and make us stronger: that is the starting point when you get someone with experience. At the same time, you are looking at young affordable players who can develop into top players here.
“I like to provide a fresh, new dynamic. But I don't see us putting on the table an amount for which we got Haller. We look for it more in the category 'with him we can get through another year' and I don't even rule out loaning.
“It never comes to a complete stop anyway. I do prepare for all scenarios, because we are not satisfied with our current successes. We want more."
