Ajax chief Marc Overmars admits they fancy a future raid on Tottenham.

Overmars is aware of former Ajax defensive pair Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen both declaring they're open to a return to Amsterdam before hanging up the boots.

And Overmars won't rule out bringing back players that left previously, like the two Belgians.

"I've read that they want to return.

"I would like it to be soon, while they're still in shape and motivated by success," he said.
