Reports suggest that the Gunners and the Dutch giants are in talks regarding the possibility of French striker Sanogo heading to Amsterdam for the 2015/16 campaign.
The 22-year-old, who did not travel with the squad to Singapore for the Barclays Asia Trophy, has failed to make an impact on the Arsenal squad since arriving in north London from Auxerre in 2013 and was subsequently sent to Crystal Palace for the second part of last season.
If Sanogo happens to make the move to Ajax, he will link up with Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp, who is assistant to Frank de Boer at the Dutch Eredivisie powerhouse.
