Aidy Boothroyd is stepping up to take charge of England Under-21.

The former Watford manager will take charge of the England Under-21 side for their final two Euro qualifiers.

Following the departure of Sam Allardyce, Watford-born Gareth Southgate has been named interim senior team manager.

This has resulted in Under-20 coach Boothroyd taking charge of the Under-21 side for the games against Kazakhstan and Bosnia & Herzegovina next month.
