Aguero penalty enough as Man City defeat West Ham

Manchester City did enough to defeat West Ham 1-0 on Wednesday night.

City kept the pressure on Liverpool at the top of the Premier League as Sergio Aguero's second-half penalty earned Pep Guardiola's side all three points against West Ham.

Aguero sent Lukas Fabianski the wrong way after substitute Bernardo Silva had been fouled by Felipe Anderson.

David Silva hit the post in a match that the home team totally dominated.

Guardiola's team remain one point behind Jurgen Klopp's side, who beat Watford 5-0 at Anfield.
