Sergio Aguero remains buoyed by the signing of fellow Argentine Nicolas Otamendi.
The defender joined Manchester City from Valencia for around £28.5million in the summer, making it five players from Argentina in the City first team.
Striker Aguero is loving the fact that his countrymen are beginning to join him at the Etihad Stadium and admits he would love it if more players from the South American nation made their way to Manchester.
Auger said: "Nico is a good player who will help our team – and the more Argentinians the better as far as I'm concerned!
"He had a great season with Valencia last season and that's helped earn him a move here.
"We need a big squad because we've got lots of games and many competitions we're trying to win and all the players we've brought in over the summer have made us stronger."
