Aggressive reaction could force Leicester star Drinkwater out for remaining matches

Leicester City midfielder Danny Drinkwater could spend the rest of the season on the sidelines because of his aggressive reaction to his sending off in the 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Sunday.

The 26-year-old was shown his second yellow of the game when he fouled Memphis Depay in the 87th minute of the game.

Drinkwater appeared to swear at match referee Michael Oliver before exiting the Old Trafford pitch and could be slapped with an additional one-game ban on top of the automatic one-match suspension if Oliver decides to include the incident in his match report.

Teammate Jamie Vardy copped a two-game ban for a similar reaction to his red card against West Ham United a fortnight ago.
