Agents threat to Tottenham's Gomes bid

Tottenham's bid for PSV Eindhoven goalkeeper Huerelho Gomes is being threatened by an agents' dispute.

The Times says three agents claim that they are entitled to a share of up to 50 per cent of the Brazil goalkeeper's transfer fee in a deal struck when Gomes joined from Cruzeiro four years ago.

However, the Dutch champions are refusing to deal with Vlado Lemic, one of the agents, after a falling-out. In addition, the three agents, who include Renato Gaucho, are wrangling over who is entitled to the share of any sale. None of the agents are believed to act for the player.

Gomes has admitted that he was advised by Lemic to say that he wanted to leave PSV. Tottenham have offered about £5.5million for Gomes, but PSV are asking for £8million and Lee Young Pyo, the left back, as part of the deal.
