The agent of Jean-Philippe Gbamin admits this is likely his last season with Mainz.

And a future in the Premier League could be on, with Arsenal having already failed with a €40m bid for Gbamin.

Bernard Collignon told BILD: "He needs a new challenge. And I do not think he'll find it in Mainz.

"The next step is coming: I think he's in a comfort zone that's hard to get out of."

Gbamin moved to Mainz three years ago from Lens for €5m.
