Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal is edging closer to a return to Serie A.
Agents for the former Juventus ace are in talks with Inter Milan this week.
Gazzetta dello Sport's Nicolo Schira says representatives of the Chile international has been in Milan this week to meet with Inter officials.
The stumbling block for the moment is the form of the transfer - Barca want an outright January sale, while Inter are insisting on a straight loan.
Inter GM Beppe Marotta, who signed Vidal for Juve, recently said: "Arturo Vidal is an excellent player, a true warrior. Barcelona will probably not let him go, but this is a name on our list of potential opportunities."
