Barcelona are ready to make a swap offer for axed former Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Stripped of the captaincy on Tuesday, Aubameyang also won't be considered for Arsenal's next game against West Ham, having also been dropped for the win over Southampton.
A sale in January is now being raised, with Arsenal seeking £25m to part with the striker.
A move to Barcelona has been mooted, however the Catalans do not have the current funds to meet Arsenal's valuation.
Instead, a swap bid has been raised, with Barca offering Ousmane Dembele in exchange for Aubameyang. Such a proposal will be attractive to Arsenal, where football chief Edu is a fan of Dembele.
Intermediaries have now proposed a swap deal between the two, especially since both players are at a similar salary level, reports the Independent.
