Newcastle United are in contact with Werder Bremen defender Sebastian Boenisch.
Agent Dieter Burdenski has told BILD that Newcastle aren't the only Premier League club interested in the fullback.
Boenisch is off contract at Werder and watched by Toon chief scout Graham Carr at the Euros in action for Poland.
