Antalyaspor intermediary George Gardi admits their swoop for former Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri was a major coup.
Gardi, speaking with TMW, detailed how they managed to convince Nasri to move to Turkey.
"Nasri was a very difficult task, and had two more years of contract at Manchester City at high odds, starting with a request of more than ten million for the transfer," said Gardi.
"The first time I suggested the player to the president, he replied not to disturb him and contact him when he would be back in the real world.
"It was business, and the player has reduced his salary, and we managed to get it done, adding bonuses on the future resale. It was weighed by Nasri's will, he was fascinated by the project, but it was not easy to convince him: coming from the Champions League, from the Premier League, coming to Turkey."
