The agent of Nacional de Montevideo midfielder Gabriel Neves has confirmed talks with Fiorentina.

Neves' deal is now inside the final 12 months.

"Fiorentina have made an approach, there's the possibility to continue the negotiation, but we are talking now," agent Gerardo Arias told Sport890.

“Neves was targeted by several clubs in Spain, Mexico and now also Italy.

"We'll try to reach an agreement by the end of August."
