The agent of Sassuolo midfielder Matteo Politano admits AC Milan are in contact.
Politano is expected to leave Sassuolo this summer.
"I was at the Milan training ground because I am an agent and we are in the pre-market phrase, so like all agents, I meet with the clubs," Davide Lippi told MilanNews.it.
“It's not that we specifically talked about one player, but there was an approach with (director of sport Massimiliano) Mirabelli, I said hello to (Coach Gennaro) Gattuso and we talked about next year.
“We discussed many things, not just Politano. Naturally, Matteo is a great player who is doing well, so information is asked…
“Milan want to improve their squad, they have a young Coach with a three-year contract and that means they believe in Rino's project.
“I know they are already trying to plan for the future in the best way."
