Atletico Madrid midfielder Mario Suarez's agent has confirmed the interest of AC Milan.

But Manuel Garcia Quilon says such a move is too soon for the Spaniard.

"I don't know if he's a prospect for Milan," he said to MilanNews.it. "He was followed in January by three or four Italian teams, including Milan, Inter and Napoli.

"He is a spectacular player and the Italians wanted him.

"At the moment I couldn't say if there are any meetings planned with [Adriano] Galliani, but it's true that in the past he was pursued by Milan.

"We're talking about an extraordinary player, who can represent the season's best signing for any team."
