The agent of Lokomotiv Moscow midfielder Dmitri Barinov is tightlipped on talk of interest from Manchester United.

Barinov has been linked with United in recent days as Loko's technical director Ralf Rangnick takes the manager's job at Old Trafford.

But a spokesman for the management firm handling Barinov has cooled the talk.

“Nobody from Manchester United has contacted us. I don't want to comment on rumours," said the representative.

"Now there are important games, the end of the season."
