The agent of Bari defender Stefano Guberti has revealed talks are scheduled with Roma.
"Roma have asked me to fix a meeting after June 15," Claudio De Nicola told romagiallorossa.com. "I will contact Stefano after the end of this week to see how the situation is and assess the actual moment, taking into consideration Spalletti's decision to stay.
"With respect to Roma and the other clubs that are awaiting a response, I think Stefano should make a decision. I hope the operation will go through, also because Roma have entrusted me with making sure this saga has a good end.
"Roma have already given me their terms and I only have to refer them to Stefano. After that, I repeat, he'll have to make a decision. The economics of the deal are the least of Stefano's concerns otherwise he would have already signed for someone else.
"The discussions are linked to an investment in the player and, considering that Spalletti is staying on the bench, Roma wanted to accelerate the operation. The deal went through a phase where it actually stalled because the future of Spalletti wasn't known.
