The agent of Christian Eriksen has talked up the prospect of a return to the Premier League for the former Tottenham midfielder.
Eriksen announced on Tuesday publicly that he will continue his career and aims to with Denmark at the World Cup in Qatar, but what the future brings in terms of clubs is not yet known.
Eriksen's agent indicates, however, that a comeback to English football is definitely relevant.
"Playing in England again would definitely feel like coming home to Chris and his family," agent Martin Schoots told the BBC.
"Christian has been treated exceptionally well by the British people. Not only because of his top-class footballing skills, but also because of his human values, modesty and altruism."
Eriksen is a free agent after being forced to terminate his deal with Inter Milan as no athlete is allowed to compete with an implanted ICD device in Italy.
