Roma defender Philippe Mexes would consider a move to Chelsea. His representative Olivier Joanneaux says there has been no contact from the Blues but admits Mexes would consider the move.
"I have seen the rumours linking Philippe with Chelsea, but I have heard nothing," Joanneaux told Sky Sports' website. "No-one from Chelsea has called me and I believe no-one has called Roma."
Joanneaux admits Mexes would consider a move to Chelsea, but that Roma will decide the 27-year-old's future.
"Chelsea almost signed Philippe in 2004, but he signed for Roma as he felt this would be best for him at the time," he added. "He would consider a move to Chelsea if they did make an offer as they are a big team, but it all depends on Roma.
"He has two years left on his contract and Philippe is happy with his situation at Roma.
"But if Roma decide to sell him we will consider all options available."
