Atletico Madrid are closing a deal for Malaga striker Sandro Ramirez.

The former Barcelona forward has also been linked with a move to England at Everton in recent days.

However, Sandro's agent, Gines Carvajal, was at the Vicente Calderon on Monday and AS says he was there to finalise the striker's move to Atletico.

Atletico are still working through the overturning of FIFA's transfer ban, but work is still continuing on summer signings.

If personal terms are struck, Atletico can sign Sandro for €6 million courtesy of his buyout clause.
