The agent of Club Brugge striker Wesley Moares says any move to Newcastle will depend on the future of manager Rafa Benitez.

Paulo Nehmy has confirmed that there has already been a “conversation" about a move in the summer to St James' Park.

Lazio fansite TheLaziali spoke to the agent, who said the following: “Are Lazio interested still? Yes, it is true, Lazio are interested, but between being close and getting the business done it still demands conversations.

“What about Newcastle? Are they in the running? Yes, it's true too, we already had a conversation. But, Rafa Benitez needs to renew his contract. West Ham have also made contact."

Wesley would come in at around £16million and so would be within Newcastle's price range.
