Long time agent Josep Maria Minguella believes Lionel Messi will leave Barcelona for Inter Milan.

Messi has made formal transfer request to Barca this week.

And Miguella, who was involved in originally taking Messi to Barca, believes his next move will be to Inter.

He told Radio COPE: "For me, Messi already has a team: Inter.

“In Italy they pay less taxes for what it could be, in fact, there is Cristiano (Ronaldo). It costs me more to see him in England, no matter how much his friends (Sergio) Agüero and (Pep) Guardiola are in the City."

However, Minguella also said: "What Barça has to do is rethink its situation. If with Leo they didn't know where the team's future was going to go, imagine it without him."

He added: "The main problem for Barça in recent years is that the figure of sports director has not worked."
