French agent Yvan Le Mee says PSG striker Kylian Mbappe was on his way to Real Madrid before the coronavirus suspension hit.
Mbappe has long been a target for Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.
Le Mee told Marca: “Mbappé, in a normal context, without this horrible virus or the economic problem that is coming, we could think that he was going to sign for Madrid this summer, because he also does not seem to be going to renew, and he has two years left on his contract.
"But with all this it seems impossible for a club to spend now what Mbappé costs. Because if Neymar is worth 222 million, Kylian is worth 300, because he is younger and is just as good, extraordinary.
“I think he will want to play for the best club in the world, which is Madrid, and for one of his idols to train him, which is (Zinedine) Zidane. Also today there is no great competition in Madrid's attack. It is where there is most demand."
