The agent of Jorginho admits he had the pick of Premier League clubs before settling on Chelsea this past summer.
The Brazilian-born Italy midfielder joined the Blues for a fee of around £50million after they triumphed in a bidding war to acquire his services from Napoli.
His agent, Joao Santos, told ESPN Brasil: "There were calls from Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, Tottenham and Chelsea.
"In a way all the big English clubs saw Jorginho because he was already in the Italian national team."
He also revealed that Napoli had the final say on his destination as he followed Sarri to Stamford Bridge.
Santos stated: "Based on an agreement with Napoli, Jorginho still had two years contract and the last word was with Napoli.
"At that moment, the best deal for Napoli was Chelsea."
