FC Rostov midfielder Mathais Normann's move to Norwich City remains alive.

VG reports Normann's agent Imad El Hammichi has published an Instagram story in which he is about to board a private plane. There's a belief the final details of the transfer will be settled later today.

Normann is due to join Norwich on loan with an obligation to buy. It's understood the Canaries have re-adjusted the permanent option after their original proposal was rejected by Rostov.

The move will mark a return to England for former Brighton midfielder Normann.

The Norway international left the Seagulls for Rostov in 2019.
