Marcelo Brozovic is ready to sign a new deal with Inter Milan.

The midfielder was close to joining Chelsea on Wednesday.

"It's official, Brozovic will stay at Inter," Miroslav Bicanic told Goal.

“When he gets back from Croatia, Marcelo will sign a new and improved contract with Inter, even if he'll earn less than he would have at Chelsea.

“He's happy at Inter, he knows the city and the club will play in the Europa League.

“There's a new Coach and a new squad and for that reason he didn't want to go to England."
