The agent of Douglas Maicon insists any move to Real Madrid will NOT hinge on the Inter Milan fullback's personal demands. Antonio Caliendo has now declared that there is no problem on their side.
"If Inter president [Massimo] Moratti decides to sell Maicon for budgetary reasons, then there should be no problem selling the player, partly because the two are friends," he told Sky Sport 24.
"When Maicon returns from America (he is currently on a pre-season tour of North America with Inter), we will sit down and discuss his future.
"If Real Madrid and Inter reach an agreement, then there won't be any problems with Maicon's personal terms.
"But the presidents [Moratti and Florentino Perez] will have to decide. Maicon does not want to walk away looking like a mercenary at all."
