The personal advisor of Roman Pavlyuchenko insists the Tottenham striker is doing his best to learn English.
Pavlyuchenko's personal agent in Russia, Oleg Artemov, admitted he is worried about his compatriot not getting enough first-team football - but he also believes that all the 27-year-old needs is time.
"Naturally I do not like the situation when he spends several games on the bench," Artemov told a newspaper in Russia.
"I'm coming to London soon to talk to Harry Redknapp about it. But in my opinion quite a lot about his situation in the club is over-dramatised. Like his language problem.
"Redknapp was joking of course when he said that in training he has to have an interpreter running behind Roman on the pitch.
"Yes, studying English is not easy for him but he does make progress. By now he understands almost everything and has started speaking a bit."
