The agent of Feyenoord midfielder Jordy Clasie has confirmed major transfer interest for the Holland international.

Porto, Southampton and Newcastle United are being linked with Clasie this season.

Wessel Weezenberg said: "There is much interest in Jordy.

"Speculating makes no sense. He must first help Feyenoord finish third, then there is room to think about the future.

"Jordy needs a club that would help him where he wants to go, the chance of playing for a big club and which can pay a ransom. If one of these components is missing, it makes little sense.

"He may as well stay with Feyenoord. "
