Miguel Almiron would love to play for Arsenal and may get the chance to do so in the future, according to his agent.
The Paraguayan midfielder has been linked with the Gunners this week with reports suggesting that his club, Argentine outfit Lanus, were in talks with the North Londoners.
While Almiron's agent, Daniel Campos, has confirmed interest from Arsenal, he suggests that the 22-year-old is unlikely to make the move to the Premier League before Wednesday night's transfer deadline.
"Actually there was an approach, but it didn't go any further," he told Sport Witness.
"I see it more for the future.
"No doubt he'd be delighted to play in the Premier League and for Arsenal."
Regarding a possible transfer fee for Almiron, Campos added: "That's up to Lanus. But around €10 million."
