Agent Oscar Damiani was delighted for Yann Karamoah after he scored for Inter Milan in victory over Bologna.

It marked Karamoah's first goal for the club.

Damiani told TMW after the game: "I haven't seen him, but I'm waiting in the carpark to congratulate him.

"It's a double satisfaction for Inter and for the boy, when you bring a player it is clear that you are pleased to see him on the pitch. He showed character and personality, took his responsibilities and made a good performance."

Damiani admits Bologna tried to sign Karamoah last month.

He added: "Yes, but Inter did not want him to leave. And I advised him to stay. Other teams involved were Genoa and Nice, but staying at Inter was the right choice. He can go on like this..."
