If it comes down to a choice, Hajduk Split goalkeeper Karlo Letica should choose Newcastle United over Real Madrid this summer.
That's the opinion of Italian agent Giovanni de Vito, who is close to the young shot-stopper's management team.
Letica, 21, has courted interest from Real Madrid and Manchester United this past season, while Newcastle have also made a firm approach. For De Vito, the best option at this stage of Letica's career would be Rafa Benitez's Toon.
He told Tribalfootball.com: "He's had a break-out season, I know him and his agent very well, I know for sure Real Madrid asked about him.
"He is a good goalie, but patience is required with young players. He's even scored a goal!
"I can compare him to (AC Milan keeper Gigio) Donnarumma, for his age and talent, even if for me Donnarumma is better. Goalkeepers like Gigio are uncommon."
Significantly, De Vito added: "Going to Newcastle would be the best choice for him, it is a big club, not the biggest one, but if he will be able to make it there, he would be ready for every top club in Europe."
