The agent of Empoli left-back Fabiano Parisi, Mario Giuffredi, states that his client is wanted by Leeds United.

The 21-year-old is the subject of interest for the left-back berth at the Elland Road stadium club.

While Leeds do have Junior Firpo, they believe an improvement can be secured in the coming transfer windows.

In an interview with Italian website Tuttomercatoweb, Giuffredi stated: "Yes, the last few days of the market have been very hectic.

"I consider him a great team player, he can be the transfer man for January or for the summer.

"He is of the highest standard. He can aspire to important goals. We had many clubs, from Atalanta to Turin to Fiorentina, Leeds and Nice, also in agreement with Empoli we decided to wait."
