The agent of Sassuolo winger Matteo Politano has confirmed they're in talks with Inter Milan.

Politano came close to joining Napoli in January, but now appears set to sign for Inter.

“We are working on Politano to Inter. They are certainly interested," agent Davide Lippi told Sky Sport Italia.

Politano scored 11 goals with five assists in 39 games last season.

Lippi was already at the Nerazzurri HQ on Thursday to discuss the renewal of goalkeeper Tommaso Berni's contract.
