Didier Drogba is set to start training with Chelsea.
The Ivory Coast striker, now with Shanghai Shenhua, saw FIFA block his bid to rejoin the Blues on loan during the Chinese close season.
But Drogba, 34, who ended an eight-year spell at Stamford Bridge last summer, plans to use the club's Cobham facility to stay fit ahead of next month's African Nations Cup.
Drogba's advisor Thierno Seydi said: "We don't yet know when he will start. But the aim above all is for him to train well for the Nations Cup."
