The agent of Luis Alberto insists he's happy at Lazio.

Alberto is under contract until 2022.

“During this period of his career, he has become an extraordinary metronome for the midfield. He can defend, steal back possession, runs an average of 12km per game and that is an incredible statistic for a player of his quality.

“He united his natural talent with an immense tactical and physical improvement, becoming one of the best players in Europe. It's a pity Euro 2000 was postponed, as I think we would've seen him complete in that tournament."

He added: “We are very much in sync in the conversations we are having between You First Sports Italia and the club, who are well aware of how Luis has improved and the fact he is making the difference.

“We're at an advanced stage and I am certain the agreement will arrive soon."
