Italian agent Giovanni Branchini has revealed Real Madrid have made a cash bid for PSG striker Kylian Mbappe.

Mbappe is expected to join Real Madrid this summer when he comes off contract and Branchini says Los Merengues has sought to bring the move forward.

Branchini said: "It depends on PSG.

"Real Madrid wants to have Mbappé immediately and has offered €50m. I don't know how it will turn out. It certainly seems to me that Florentino Pérez's initiative deserves attention, it is a message of stability for the system.

"Ultimately, for instance, it is a shame for everyone that a player of this level moves in the summer on a free transfer.

"I do not know what they will do in Paris, but they will surely sign a great star to replace him."
