The agent of Gareth Bale believes Real Madrid's support are now right behind the Welshman.

The attacker was impressive for victory at Espanyol last weekend.

And agent Jonathan Barnett told Madridista Real, "The critics against Bale? Gareth has always been respectful with supporters and on some occasions fans have been angry with him, perhaps unfairly.

"But currently, fans have realised that they are wrong. He is a superstar, a player at the height of Real Madrid.

"The treatment of the press? He suffered campaigns against him. The treatment received was very unpleasant."
