The agent of Real Madrid star Gareth Bale has denied reports of talks with Bayern Munich about a loan move next season.

Reports claimed the Welsh forward, who is not in Zinedine Zidane's plans at Real Madrid, is set to join the German champions this summer.

But Barnett said that is "a lie".

He added: "Bayern Munich have not made any approach to bring Bale in on loan."

Real are eager to get Bale off the books, but with a huge contract, it's not easy to find an exit, not least because Los Blancos are also asking for a big transfer fee.
